Paris Fashion Week
Spring / Summer 2027

One house owned the conversation. The critics had other ideas.

Paris ran from September 28 to October 6, 2026, with 68 shows and 33 presentations on the provisional calendar (Fashionista). It was also the loudest week of the season by far: 21.2 million social mentions, against 5.1 million for Milan and 2.6 million for New York (Onclusive).

Paris is where the money talks loudest, so we followed it. This report measures three things: share of voice, earned media value, and how often each house made the critics' best-of lists. Every figure is sourced below.

Analysis: Dior alone earned more than 45% of the week's media value. In a 101-house calendar, one brand took nearly half the social conversation. That is not a lead, it's a monopoly on attention.

Media & Buzz WinnerDior

Jonathan Anderson's Dior show on September 29, staged in the Tuileries over a pond (AP), produced the single biggest spike of the week, at 3 p.m. that day (Onclusive). Dior finished with 45.04% of brand social share and $360M in EMV, up 297% on last year (Onclusive, Lefty). It is also a pattern: Dior has led Paris social share three seasons running.

Critical DarlingDries Van Noten

We counted brand appearances across eight published best-of-Paris roundups (sources below). Four houses tied at the top, in 6 of 8: Dior, Dries Van Noten, Loewe and Saint Laurent. Dries Van Noten is the standout, because it did it without the noise. Julian Klausner's collection ranked No. 2 in Paris on The Impression (The Impression) but does not appear in Onclusive's published social or news rankings at all.

Legacy Power PlayerChanel

Matthieu Blazy's Chanel tied Dior for the best show in Paris on The Impression, both scoring 9.5 (The Impression), came second in digital news share at 7.6% (Onclusive), and earned $57M in EMV (Lefty). The business is following: Chanel's first-half 2026 sales rose 16%, per Bloomberg data reported by AFP (FashionUnited).

Breakout StarMatières Fécales

The duo staged their first show at Place de la République with 99 models (Lefty), made 4 of 8 roundups, and grew EMV by 795% year on year (Lefty). Rihanna was in the audience (Onclusive).

The debuts: Drew Henry showed his first Courrèges collection on September 30 and Kai Nesselrath debuted at Carven on October 1 (Fashionista).

Part II

The Runway Analysis: The faces of the season

No Paris-only booking tally has been published. The Impression ranks the season's most-booked models across all four cities (The Impression), and Tagwalk names the same top five (Tagwalk).

2Agel Akol33
3Alaina Rae32

5Awar Odhiang30

The bookings people talked about: Olivia Colman made her runway debut at Miu Miu, Ciara walked three times for Junya Watanabe, and Chanel cast Rachel Ojuromi, the creator known for recreating Chanel looks (W). Natasha Poly walked Chanel and Amber Valletta walked Stella McCartney (Forbes).

Part III

The Digital Ecosystem: Thailand ran the internet

Two Thai stars held almost half of all celebrity social share across 479 names measured (Onclusive).

RankTalentCelebrity social share
1Lingling Kwong24.31%
2Orm Kornnaphat22.59%
3Namping Napatsakorn6.03%
4Keng Harit5.96%
5Freen Sarocha4.86%
Analysis: Lingling and Orm posted 36 times for Dior between them and generated over $200 million in EMV (Lefty). That is more than half of Dior's total, from two people. Schiaparelli's No. 2 social position came the same way, driven largely by Thai guests at its show (Onclusive). In Paris, the front row is the campaign.

The news headliner: Rihanna led celebrity news share at 3.29%, with appearances at Dior and Matières Fécales (Onclusive). The viral clip: Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Dua Lipa and Nicole Kidman singing together in the Chanel front row, which Lefty says was dubbed this decade's Oscar selfie (Lefty).

The final frontier

Creator Ad Value (CAV)

Paris shows why reach is not value until you price it. Two talents drove $200 million for one house. CAV puts that number on every post, by every model and guest, so a brand knows who actually paid off.

"We dressed them. What did it return?" CAV gives the answer in dollars.
