• Profile information including agency affiliation, Instagram handle, and portfolio links
• Content you submit including headshots and portfolio images for the Model Registry

We also collect information automatically when you use our platform including browser type, IP address, pages visited, and purchase history.

Model Registry & Facial Recognition

Specifically:

• Your submitted headshots are used to create a facial recognition profile
• This profile is used solely to identify content featuring you across our media library
• When content featuring you is licensed, your 10% revenue share is calculated automatically based on this identification
• Your facial data is never sold to third parties
• Your facial data is never used for advertising purposes
• You may request deletion of your facial recognition profile at any time by contacting us at press@9strokesproductions.com
• Deletion of your facial profile will discontinue automatic revenue share tracking

By registering with the Model Registry and submitting headshot photographs, you explicitly consent to this use of facial recognition technology for revenue share purposes only.

How We Use Your Information

• To process purchases and deliver licensed content
• To calculate and distribute revenue shares to models and contributors
• To send transactional emails related to purchases and account activity
• To identify content featuring registered models for revenue share calculation
• To improve our platform and user experience
• To comply with legal obligations

Content & Licensing

All content purchased through 9 Strokes Wire is licensed for editorial use only. Purchase of a license does not transfer copyright ownership. 9 Strokes Productions, LLC retains all underlying copyright in content produced by our team.

Buyer information including name and email is retained for licensing records and may be referenced in the event of a licensing dispute.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe’s privacy policy.
• Amazon Web Services — content storage and delivery. Subject to AWS privacy policy.
• Legal authorities — when required by law or to protect our rights.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to operate the platform including shopping cart functionality, user authentication, and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Purchase and licensing records are retained for seven years for legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time subject to legal retention requirements.

We implement industry standard security measures to protect your information. All data transmission is encrypted via SSL. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe and we never store payment card details.

Children’s Privacy

9 Strokes Wire is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
