9 Strokes Wire is a digital media licensing platform operated by 9 Strokes Productions, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. The platform provides access to editorial photographs and video content captured at fashion events, runway shows, and related industry events.

By accessing or using the 9 Strokes Wire platform at wire.9strokesproductions.com, purchasing any license, registering as a model, or participating as a contributor, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

9 Strokes Productions, LLC retains full copyright ownership of all content published on the wire, including photographs, video clips, full show edits, and any derivative works. All rights not expressly granted in a license are reserved.

Content is captured as editorial press coverage of public fashion events. 9 Strokes Productions, LLC operates as a credentialed media organization. All content is produced under press credentials issued by event organizers.

Contributor content submitted under the contributor program is licensed to 9 Strokes Productions, LLC for distribution under the contributor agreement. Contributors retain underlying copyright but grant 9 Strokes Productions, LLC an exclusive license to distribute the content through the wire platform.

All content sold through 9 Strokes Wire is licensed as editorial use only unless a separate written commercial license agreement is executed. The editorial license grants the buyer a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the licensed content for editorial purposes only.

Editorial use includes:

• News and press coverage
• Magazine and digital publication editorial features
• Agency portfolio reference and internal use
• Brand internal use and press materials
• Broadcast and streaming editorial programming on licensed channels

Editorial use does not include:

• Advertising, marketing campaigns, or paid promotions of any kind
• Billboard, out-of-home, or point-of-sale advertising
• Television commercials or paid digital advertising
• Product packaging or merchandise
• Any use that implies a model’s endorsement of a product or service
• Any use requiring a model release under applicable law

The editorial license is valid for two years from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified in the license agreement. The license is restricted to the purchasing entity only and may not be sublicensed, transferred, or shared.

Full show licenses are available exclusively to verified TV and app channels — defined as licensed broadcast networks or streaming platforms with a dedicated application on at least one major platform including Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung TV Plus, or equivalent.

Full show licenses are subject to the following additional restrictions:

• License is restricted to one named channel or platform only
• Content may not be published on YouTube under any circumstances regardless of channel size or subscriber count
• Content may not be distributed across multiple channels or platforms under a single license
• License is non-transferable and may not be sublicensed
• Buyer must provide verification of channel credentials before license is issued

9 Strokes Productions, LLC reserves the right to deny any full show license application at its sole discretion.

By purchasing a license through 9 Strokes Wire, the buyer agrees to the following:

• The buyer is solely responsible for determining whether the intended use of the licensed content requires model releases, property releases, or any other third-party clearances
• The buyer is solely responsible for obtaining any such releases before using the content for any purpose beyond the editorial license terms
• The buyer will not use the content in any manner that defames, misrepresents, or harms the reputation of any individual depicted
• The buyer will not alter or manipulate the content in a manner that misrepresents the original event or subject
• The buyer will include appropriate credits where required by the license terms
• The buyer will not reproduce, redistribute, or resell the content to any third party

9 Strokes Productions, LLC shall not be liable for any claims arising from the buyer’s use of licensed content beyond the scope of the editorial license.

The 9 Strokes Wire Model Registry is a voluntary program open to professional models who have appeared in content published on the wire. Registration is free.

By registering, models agree to the following:

• 9 Strokes Productions, LLC may publish, license, and distribute editorial content featuring the registered model captured at public fashion events
• The registered model consents to the use of submitted headshots for facial recognition and automated content tagging on the platform
• Biometric data submitted for facial recognition is stored securely and used solely for content tagging purposes and will not be sold or shared with third parties
• Registration does not constitute employment, agency representation, or a booking relationship
• 9 Strokes Productions, LLC is a content licensing platform and not a talent agency

Revenue Share: Registered models receive 10% of net revenue from individual asset sales featuring them, calculated after payment processing fees. Revenue share is paid automatically via Stripe Connect on a monthly basis when the account balance exceeds $25. Revenue share does not apply to agency pass sales, full show licenses, or bulk licensing agreements.

Content Discount: Registered models receive 50% off the list price when purchasing editorial content featuring themselves. The discount applies to model walk clips and individual still photographs only.

Content Removal: Registered models may request removal of specific assets by contacting press@9strokesproductions.com. Removal requests will be reviewed within 30 days. 9 Strokes Productions, LLC reserves the right to retain content in archival full show packages where the model is one of many subjects. Editorial use doctrine applies to all content captured at public events.

Contributors are credentialed photographers and videographers who submit content to the wire under an approved contributor agreement. Participation in the contributor program is subject to approval by 9 Strokes Productions, LLC.

By submitting content as a contributor, you agree to the following:

• You grant 9 Strokes Productions, LLC an exclusive license to distribute your submitted content through the wire platform
• You warrant that you own the content, that it was captured under valid press credentials, and that its publication does not infringe any third-party rights
• You will not publish or license the submitted content through any competing wire service or stock platform without prior written consent from 9 Strokes Productions, LLC
• Contributors earn 40% of net revenue from individual asset sales of their content, calculated after payment processing fees
• Agency pass splits are proportional based on asset type weighting as defined in the contributor agreement
• Payments are made automatically via Stripe Connect within 48 hours of a qualifying sale

All content published on 9 Strokes Wire is registered with Pixsy for continuous global copyright monitoring. 9 Strokes Productions, LLC actively pursues unauthorized use of its content.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, public display, or creation of derivative works from any content on 9 Strokes Wire without a valid license will result in:

• Automated copyright infringement claims through Pixsy
• DMCA takedown notices to hosting providers and platforms
• Legal action seeking statutory damages under the Copyright Act

Statutory damages for copyright infringement can reach $150,000 per work for willful infringement under 17 U.S.C. § 504.

If you believe that content on 9 Strokes Wire infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to press@9strokesproductions.com containing the following:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• Identification of the infringing material and its location on the platform
• Your contact information including name, address, phone, and email
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
• Your physical or electronic signature

We will respond to valid DMCA notices within 14 business days.

All transactions on 9 Strokes Wire are processed through Stripe. By completing a purchase you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service.

All sales are final. Refunds are not available after a license has been issued and content has been accessed or downloaded. If you believe you have been charged in error please contact press@9strokesproductions.com within 48 hours of purchase.

9 Strokes Productions, LLC reserves the right to revoke a license if the buyer is found to be in violation of these terms. No refund will be issued upon license revocation due to terms violation.

The platform and all content are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. 9 Strokes Productions, LLC makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any content on the platform.

9 Strokes Productions, LLC does not warrant that content is free from model release restrictions, property release restrictions, or other third-party claims. It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to determine the suitability of the content for their intended use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 9 Strokes Productions, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or licensed content, including but not limited to claims arising from third-party model release requirements, property release requirements, or right of publicity claims.

9 Strokes Productions, LLC’s total liability for any claim arising from these terms or use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by the buyer for the specific license giving rise to the claim.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

9 Strokes Productions, LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
